Portable Hardness Testers

Hardness Testing is a widely used method for determining hardness of materials using test methods such as Vickers, Brinell, Knoop, Rockwell, Shore, Clark and IRHD. Portable hardness testers come in a variety of types with the ability to test most metals, alloys and plastics ranging from soft polymers and rubbers to engineering alloys designed for use in the most arduous conditions or most severe operating environments. In addition, Portable Hardness Testers equipment offers a quick and economical supplement to stationary hardness testing in the modern production process.

HANDY ESATEST Portable Hardness Tester

The HANDY ESATEST Hardness Tester is a result of more than forty years of experience and continuing research for new technological solutions to solve problems in hardness testing of metals.

HANDY ESATEST is the new and state-of-the-art portable hardness tester which measures the electric resistance.

The wing of a supersonic plane, the wishbone of a racing formula one car, a turbine blade, a wheel joint, are only some of the "difficult" applications which HANDY ESATEST is able to fulfill, issuing data with a detailed comparative diagram and report.

Computest SC Portable Digital Hardness Tester

This portable hardness tester works with static load, according to the Rockwell principle, with preload, and test load. By applying pressure, the preload (the zero setting is carried out electronically) and test load are activated. The hardness value is shown on a large, backlit display as soon as the test is complete and the pressure removed.

Computest SC can work with all kinds of metals without changing the indenter. Starting a test is very easy, requiring only the desired scale to be selected on the keyboard and then force applied on the instrument. Minimal surface preparation is required.

Direct Rockwell/ Brinell/ Vickers reading.
Tests flat and cylindrical surfaces and different material types.
Can test components of every shape and dimension.
Microprocessor electronics and multi-function keyboard.
Includes rechargeable batteries.
Meets the ASTM B724 standard.

Computest SC is capable of:
Determining the minimum measurable thickness.
Correcting the hardness curve
Setting tolerance values
Performing up to 1,000 tests and printing out the results at a later time.
Performing a series of measurements and immediately calculating the average.
Printing test reports in five different languages.

Features
